Blue Moon Swing is a monthly West Coast Swing dance held in Austin, Texas, hosted by John Quarto-vonTivadar.

I love to dance!  Dancing has done a lot for me personally, and I give back to the dance community by hosting you as my guests at this monthly dance party. This is a completely free dance. There’s no cover, no membership fees, no 2-drink minimum. There’s even a free beginner lesson. Everything is free for the dancers. Everything. All you have to do is show up.

The current venue is the clubhouse of a residential community near central Austin. The clubhouse offers good A/C, free parking, a full kitchen & fridge if you’d like to bring snacks, and a pool. You may bring your own beer or wine (no hard liquor please). Read more details on the venue.

Often, after the dance, we go to a downtown venue for live music, typically a blues, r&b, or soul/motown spot…and, invariably, we dance. We just can’t help ourselves!
